As we get closer to the Holidays, families are booking their fall portrait sessions and starting to think about finding the perfect location for their family portraits. I thought it would be great to be able to give them a hand by sharing some my very favorite spots in LA. But I’ve shot at so many great Los Angeles locations there would be too much for just one post. So I decided a series of posts based on region would be perfect. Today I’m starting with my favorite spots on the westside.
UCLA
There are so many great spots at UCLA! Interesting architecture, brick backgrounds, steps, grass and shady trees. It is a perfect photo location.
THE BEACHES
The beach is the quintessential Los Angeles family portrait location. And for good reason, the beach is classic, beautiful, and a neutral backdrop for families with any style.
ANNENBERG BEACH HOUSE
The Annenberg Beach House is such a fun location. There is so much variety. You can go from a colonial to modern the beach, a classic location.
VENICE CANALS
Venice Canals sessions are relaxed and casual. Stroll along the sidewalks and bridges with interesting houses and the waters of the canals as a beautiful backdrop.
