The Bee’s Knees is a weekly feature wherein I ramble about all the lovely little things that are inspiring me this week.
As a kid, my family went to Lombardi Ranch in Santa Clarita each October to pick out our pumpkins. Tradition is important to me, so my husband and I have taken my daughter to Lombardi every year of her life to get her pumpkin.
Lombardi is a family farm that operates year round growing a variety of produce. Every October they open up for their Pumpkin Festival.
Each weekend day they have different entertainment scheduled, from zydeco bands to the local high school cheer squad. There is always a charity bake sale, a petting zoo, a tractor dressed up as a train ride, a scarecrow contest, a petting zoo, pony rides, and face painting.
It’s one of my very favorite fall activities. And makes for some gorgeous photos!
Go check it out before it’s over!
