Fatouros Family Spring Portrait Session

This sweet family saw me over the holidays, and then intended to do a cake smash for Nicholas’s 1 year birthday!

Unfortunately due to a myriad of reasons, we ended up rescheduling the shoot two different times. But I am so very glad we did! Instead of a January date, we ended up with the most perfect spring weather, along with long green grass and the very beginnings of wildflowers for this family portrait session.

Exactly what a little boy needs.

Nicholas had so much fun finding sticks and playing outside. You might not know it from these photos, of course. Every time I got close enough for him to notice the camera he put his serious face on. Which made me laugh, if nothing else!

I just love when families book portrait sessions at times of the year other than the holidays. The annual tradition of family photos every October is great, of course, but with as fast as kids like Nicholas grow there are so many more stories to capture at other times of the year.

I had so much fun photographing this family and I hope I get to see them again soon!
