For this new year I’m challenging myself to a weekly project to capture 52 Moments in my children’s lives. And I’m challenging you to join me! Our children will never be this age again, and I don’t want us to ever forget these moments. If you miss a week that’s okay! The point is just to capture more moments with your kiddos this year. Week 3
Welcome to week 3 of my 52 moments challenge! This week your challenge is QUIET:
My Eleanor is anything but QUIET! She is a whirlwind, a force of nature, strong, brave, wild, and loud. So I wanted to capture one of those rare moments when she is still. Her father and I have always been readers. As a kid, I never had a lot of friends (truthfully, as an adult I still don’t have many friends), but books were always my friends. I hoped that my little girl would discover the magic of a wonderful book, the joy of spending a day in bed getting lost in a story, unable to put it down. With her wild energy I wasn’t sure she would ever be able to just be still and enjoy a story, but I think we might be getting there. We just have to find the right story to speak to her. After all, telling a story is one of her favorite things.
