I had the honor of donating my time to shoot a fundraising gala, An Evening to Inspire, last month for an incredible organization. Village Family Services provides an array of services for abused and neglected children in the San Fernando Valley. At the event several young people spoke about what Village Family Services had meant to their lives. It truly was an inspiring evening. And a beautiful one. It was held at the Montage Beverly Hills‘ rooftop Conservatory.
The event began with a VIP whiskey tasting at the exclusive £10 lounge.
It continued on the roof with a reception of wines, cheeses, and appetizers. Everything looked amazing.
The evening was emceed by NBC4’s Mekahlo Medina, several young people spoke about their experiences with Village family services and awards were given to Lorri L. Jean, CEO of the LA Gay & Lesbian Center and Zev Yaroslavsky, Member of the LA Board of Supervisors.
The night ended with a special musical performance.
I am honored to have been a part of this evening supporting the life changing work of this important organization. I am looking forward to shooting An Evening to Inspire again next year!
