The Bee’s Knees is a weekly feature wherein I ramble about all the lovely little things that are inspiring me this week.
A few weeks ago I decided I needed a new workspace. I work from home and I have a built-in deskspace at the end of our hall, but it’s not very big, and it doesn’t get much natural light. I NEED natural light to work. It hasn’t been much of a problem though. I’ve made due with it, but after my Boudoir Day Session I had orders coming in from multiple clients at once and wasn’t happy with the amount of space I had to store prints and albums until they were ready to be shipped or picked up by my clients. I wanted a space where I had room to package orders and keep them safe and separate from other client’s orders.
So I started thinking about creating a new workspace in my home. Then I saw online the lovely home office of sfgirlbybay! And I decided that I wanted to create something like it in a corner of my living room! I especially loved her set of Ikea drawers, which as it turns out are the perfect size for photo prints and the drawers are the perfect depth for prints and albums for safe-keeping for my clients!

I just love it! I get plenty of light all day long! I no longer have any clutter on it! Just a nice clean, sunshiny place to work all day long! I couldn’t be happier about it! And I found everything at Ikea, which is perfect for my lazy shopping style.
