1. We went to the L.A. County fair last weekend! It was insanely hot! I’ll have to remember for next year that we should go at night when it’s cooler. Despite the heat, we still had fun! Here are a couple shots from our day:
2. I got a chance to tour the studio of my album vendor, Cypress Albums, this week. I’ll be posting more about it next week. But for now I’ll just say that I love them and their gorgeous products! Here’s a sneak peek:
3. I took a workshop in Studio Portrait Lighting last night. I learned so much. I haven’t done much in-studio photography before so it was something completely new for me. I still think I far prefer gorgeous natural outdoor light, but I love to learn new things and understanding how to set up lighting could come in handy someday. Who knows I might decide to start shooting in a studio!
4. On Monday I’ll be announcing my Holiday Mini-Session dates and unveiling our series of holiday cards designed by myself and my wonderful artist husband Josh (who designed this site)! I’m very excited about this! So don’t forget to check back on Monday for all the details!
