Four for Friday: I just can’t help myself.

1. I love Alliteration. Have you noticed? I just can’t help myself. Have you checked out my alliterative weekly posts over at Making Me Cranky: Wordless Wednesday, Fabulous Friday, Song for Saturday ?

2. Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how difficult it is to be a full-time working parent, or really feeling how difficult it is. I loved this article on The Boss of You, about working part-time at home with a little baby. It really brought back all my memories of when Eleanor was tiny and I was finishing Law School and then studying for the bar exam while at home with her. It made me realize how long I’ve been feeling completely exhausted all the time.

3. I need a crystal ball.

This one is the world’s largest perfect quartz crystal ball, at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles.

4. Jellyfish are incredible! I don’t even know what they are. Is there a brain in there somewhere? They look like some sort of lovely magic.
