I am in love with this session! We caught the sun setting at just the perfect time to get some beautiful back-lit portraits, my favorite lighting for maternity sessions! And I couldn’t have hoped for more beautiful clients! I am such a lucky photographer!

Vanessa & Damion are adventurers. They got pregnant so quickly after they started trying, that unbeknownst to them their baby girl had already started growing while they vacationed in Belize, and only discovered they were pregnant after they returned home! Vanessa is also a crazy animal lover, and I say crazy because they told me a story about her rescuing an injured opossum in the road by walking right up to it and picking it up by its tail! They also have a huge animal collection at home. I couldn’t even keep track of the pets they told me they have, but I do remember dogs, cats, a turtle and two squirrels (yes, squirrels)!!I can only imagine the adventures these two will have, and the many more pets they will collect, with their little girl! She is going to have an incredible childhood!

I can’t wait to meet their little girl for her newborn portraits in just a few weeks, maybe sooner!
