Alexander was my second newborn of the year and was actually born while I was on my way to shoot my first newborn of the year! I shot his newborn portraits on another beautiful January day at his family’s home in Santa Clarita. They are such a sweet and loving family, I was thrilled to meet their new addition.

Isn’t he just beautiful?! And so is the rest of the family.

I couldn’t wait to see how big sister Stella had taken his arrival! She seemed a little wary of him so far, but I can tell that in time she’s going to be a great big sister.

And because big sister’s birthday was within a week of her new little brother’s we thought it would be fun to throw a little princess portrait birthday party for Stella! It’s so important to make the big sibling feel special too!
