The Bee’s Knees is a semi-weekly feature wherein I ramble about all the lovely little things that are inspiring me this week.
My husband says that I have a black thumb. I love plants, but can’t seem to keep them alive. I am the grim reaper of plant life. They see me coming down the aisle of my local nursery and pray that I won’t choose them.
Knowing that whatever plant I choose it will not be likely to survive my care, I always go with succulents. They are the easiest plants to take care of, perfect for our dessert climate, they only need to be watered weekly if that. I still manage to kill them, but at least they usually last a few months on my desk, before I make yet another trip to the nursery for another batch to replant in my pots.
